Work visa in Kyrgyzstan

One of our company’s specializations is assisting with the process of obtaining a single work permit in the Kyrgyz Republic. We take care of the entire process: from the initial audit to obtaining an electronic permit and the subsequent steps for registration and employment formalities.

A single permit is required for foreign citizens and stateless persons planning to work in the Kyrgyz Republic under an employment contract or a contract for services (with the exception of exempt categories).

As a rule, citizens of EAEU countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia) do not require a permit: they can work on the basis of a contract provided that they register their stay in a timely manner. Exemptions are also possible for holders of residence permits/permanent residence permits, diplomats, and certain special statuses — applicability is checked on an individual basis.

If you are unsure whether the procedure is right for you, we will conduct a quick check and give you our opinion.

  • Express status audit and selection of the optimal route (permit/registration).
  • Personal checklist and document templates (petition, offer/contract, power of attorney).
  • Organization of translations, notarization, and, if necessary, legalization/apostille.
  • Filling out the questionnaire and submitting the application via eVisa (on behalf of the employer or specialist).
  • Coordination of payment of state fees and status monitoring.
  • Communication with government agencies: responding to requests, uploading additional materials.
  • Post-procedure: registration, consultations on labor and tax formalities.
  • Approximately 20-25 business days from the date of acceptance of the application for consideration

The actual timeframes depend on the category, the completeness of the package, and the workload of the departments.

  • Government fees: administrative fees charged by the eVisa portal and authorized agencies. The amount is determined by the system upon submission and depends on the term/category.
  • Our commission: $100 (discount available for more than 5 applicants). We provide a fixed estimate before starting work.

We provide all payment documents and statuses to the client for transparency.

  1. Application → express status check (EAEU/residence permit/other), preliminary consultation.
  2. Contract and checklist → collection of documents, preparation of templates and translations.
  3. Submission → filling out the application form, uploading files to eVisa, paying fees.
  4. Review → monitoring, responding to requests, supplementing the package if necessary.
  5. Permit issuance → we receive the electronic document and send you instructions on the next steps.
  6. After issuance → registration, support with employment and tax formalities.

Is it possible to obtain a permit without an employer?
In some cases, it is possible (for example, to obtain a short-term work visa). We will check the applicability to your situation.

How long is the document valid for?
A single work permit and work visa are issued for one year.

Do I need to reapply for the document if I change jobs/employers?
As a rule, yes. We recommend that you agree on the changes in advance so as not to interrupt your legal status.

What is required after issuance?
Within the established time frame, you must register your stay (online), sign a contract, and obtain tax status and voluntary medical insurance.

  • Turnkey service: from strategy to final approval and post-approval support.
  • A team focused on the current requirements for 2025 and local practices.
  • Transparent deadlines and reports: checklists, clear instructions, access to status updates.
  • Confidentiality and legal accuracy.
